With the purchase of a brand new fully automated Pastueriser we are able to use the milk produced twice daily on the farm to manufacture the Ice Cream.  The batch freezer can make up to 10 litres of Artisan Ice Cream per mix.  We vary the different flavours each week and make a seasonal specials using local produce wherever possible. In 2009 we made over 150 different varieties of Ice Cream and Sorbet.

Can’t decide which one to choose, then try one of each if you like. We offer up to 3 scoops per serving or alternatively choose one of our Sundaes.   These incorporate nuts, sprinkles, fruit, cream, wafers, biscuits, meringue or whatever takes your fancy.  How about a Brough Castle Special — We make a varied range of delicious 2  scoop sundaes.

 

 

Too cold for an Ice Cream then warm through sitting next to the Woodburning stove and enjoy a Cappucino, Latte, Expresso or luxury Hot Chocolate.

 

The café also boasts an impressive selection of homemade cakes, biscuits, paninis, toasties and hot meals.  Why not sample some of Sarah’s Luxury Home made fudge made to her secret recipe that only she knows.
